The aim of the symposium is to provide Australia’s health and medical researchers with an opportunity to present their work to their peers, to discuss their experience translating research, and to network with colleagues.

The inaugural NHMRC Symposium on Research Translation was held in October 2012 and has been held every year since, each with a different theme, located in different Australian cities.

The aim of the symposium is to provide Australia's health and medical researchers, particularly early and mid-career, with an opportunity to present their work to their peers, to discuss their experience translating research, and to network with colleagues.

Individuals who registered for the 2022 Symposium will be able to view the recordings of all plenary presentations and ePosters until 22nd November 2023 by logging in to the conference platform.

Selected videos and presentations from all of the plenary presentations from the 2018 Symposium and 2019 Symposium can also be viewed.
