Evaluation and reporting are essential for continuous quality improvement and so are embedded in the day-to-day work of NHMRC.
Evaluation activities at NHMRC are guided by our Evaluation Strategy (see Downloads section). The Strategy complements and builds on evaluation frameworks – such as the Commonwealth Evaluation Policy – to which NHMRC is subject as an Australian Government agency under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act).
NHMRC’s Evaluation Strategy provides a framework that ensures we continue to improve efficiency and effectiveness in undertaking our core business activities to measure, assess and communicate our performance.
Evaluation and Reporting
NHMRC evaluation and reporting takes place through a number of mechanisms including:
- grant scheme factsheets, datasets and announcements
- Impact Case Studies
- bibliometric studies
- 10 of the Best
- NHMRC Awards
- Corporate plans and annual reports
- corporate reporting
Information regarding NHMRC’s evaluation and reporting activities is published via Tracker and on our social media accounts. Follow or subscribe to stay up to date.
