Increase for NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarships Scheme stipends
From 1 January 2024, all NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship stipends will be increased to $50,000 per annum (pro rata). This will apply to all current and new Postgraduate Scholarship holders.
Previously NHMRC’s Postgraduate Scholarships grant opportunity had offered three stipend amounts based on academic qualifications; the move to a single stipend value will improve equity across the scheme.
NHMRC will be implementing the increases to grants in the coming weeks, with the changes reflected in Sapphire.
