Welcome to this special edition of Tracker.
Nominations are invited from interested individuals to serve on advisory committees that provide expert advice to the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (the Department) on health and medical research in Australia. The Department is responsible for the administration of the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).
NHMRC is also seeking to establish a joint advisory committee with the Australian Research Council (ARC) to advise on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in research, research funding processes and grant management (including applications and peer review) and research translation. The NHMRC-ARC AI Advisory Committee may also provide advice to the Department for the purposes of supporting the MRFF.
More information on each of the advisory committees is available via the links below. To nominate for one or more of these committees please visit the NHMRC website.
