MRFF – 2021 Primary Health Care Research Grant Opportunity (GO ID: GO5018)
The Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) – Primary Health Care Research Initiative - 2021 Primary Health Care Research Grant Opportunity will support research to improve the health and wellbeing of Australians by increasing the quality and efficiency of primary health care systems and services through new uses for existing wearables, or increasing patient access to point-of-care testing.
The objective of this grant opportunity is to provide grants of financial assistance to support Australian medical research and medical innovation projects that:
- Stream 1: test and implement new applications of existing wearables in primary health care practice, with potential for scalability
- Stream 2: test the effectiveness of new point-of-care testing delivery models:
- in rural, regional and/or remote areas (MM3-7 according to the Modified Monash Model locator) and/or
- through mobile delivery.
Applications to this grant opportunity must propose research that addresses one of the two Streams of research.
This grant opportunity is being administered by NHMRC on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health.
