To ensure we can make healthy food choices, we need dietary advice based on the best scientific evidence. This Guideline seeks to offer the best advice on dietary patterns that promote optimal health and wellbeing for the generally healthy Australian population.
NHMRC works to improve and promote the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through the support of health and medical research. We develop and endorse national guidelines, highlight research outcomes through articles, case studies and reports. We also produce a Reconciliation Action Plan, to guide our commitment to improving the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Grant outcomes for the 2025 NHMRC grant application round will be provided incrementally throughout the year. The outcome datasets may include a small number of schemes for which applications closed in the previous year.
