The eighteenth meeting of the National Health and Medical Research Council’s (NHMRC) Dietary Guidelines Expert Committee (Expert Committee) was held in September 2025 by videoconference.

Evidence to inform the Australian Dietary Guidelines

The Expert Committee reviewed and provided feedback on a sample chapter from the systematic review of the health effects of ultra-processed foods (UPFs) in adults.

Members provided feedback on the draft evidence evaluation report and draft technical report for the scoping review of UPFs and health outcomes in children and adolescents.
