The twentieth meeting of the National Health and Medical Research Council’s (NHMRC) Dietary Guidelines Expert Committee (Expert Committee) was held in November 2025 by videoconference.
Evidence to inform the Australian Dietary Guidelines
The Expert Committee reviewed and provided feedback on a draft report of the systematic review of the health effects of ultra-processed foods (UPFs) in adults.
Members considered evidence-to-decision frameworks for the effects of different dietary patterns on the prioritised health outcomes in the adult and pregnant/breastfeeding populations.
