MRFF – Preventive and Public Health Research Initiative – 2025 Maternal Health and Healthy Lifestyles Grant Opportunity

The Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) – 2025 Maternal Health and Healthy Lifestyles Grant Opportunity will support research into new ways to address preventive and public health issues in Australia. This will include new ways to address risk factors and to detect, diagnose and treat chronic and complex diseases early.

The anticipated outcomes of the research is to improve the health and wellbeing of Australians by:

  • Stream 1 (Targeted Call for Research): improving prevention and management of perinatal mental ill-health
  • Stream 2 (Targeted Call for Research): improving healthy development in early childhood to support a strong start to life
  • Stream 3 (Targeted Call for Research): promoting healthy lifestyle and preventive health approaches that address modifiable risk factors in adolescents, young adults and middle-aged people.

This grant opportunity is being administered by NHMRC on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
