RAO Alert – MRFF grant opportunities funding outcomes announced, media embargo lifted

The Minister for Health and Ageing, Minister for Disability and the National Disability Insurance Scheme, the Hon Mark Butler MP, has announced the funding outcomes for the following Medical Research Future Fund grant opportunities on Monday 19 January 2026:

• 2024 Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19 (GO7225)
• 2024 Clinical Trials Activity (GO7146)
• 2024 Chronic Respiratory Conditions (GO7294)
• 2025 Incorporating Patient Data in Health Technology Assessment Decision Making (GO7464)

The media release for this announcement is available on the Ministers' media centre. Outcome data will be available to download from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing’s outcomes webpage once published.

Outcomes for these grant opportunities are no longer under media embargo, however, outcomes of other grant opportunities remain under media embargo until announced as advised previously.

RAOs are requested to pass this information to the relevant Chief Investigators within their institutions.
