2026 NHMRC-European Partnership for Brain Health - Call for patient and carer reviewers and launch of partner finding tool

Call for patient and carer reviewers
The European Partnership for Brain Health (EP BrainHealth) is seeking patient reviewers to assess research proposals from the patient perspective. This is a unique opportunity to ensure that funded projects truly address the needs and priorities of those affected by brain disorders.

The role of the patient reviewers is to assess the relevance and feasibility of the research proposals from the patient perspective. No prior research expertise is required. Reviewers will receive dedicated, patient-friendly information materials to support their assessments.

Patient reviewers are expected to provide written assessments on approximately 6-10 proposals. Participation in panel meetings to discuss proposals with scientific and patient reviewers is optional.

Find out more and express your interest by 28 February 2026 on the EP BrainHealth website.

Launch of partner finding tool
A partner finding tool (PartFinder) is available for the 2026 NHMRC-EP BrainHealth calls for proposals. This tool enables researchers and companies to search for prospective partners for their consortia.

Access the tool on the PartFinder website or see the dedicated link on the webpages for each call.
