Research Fellowships 2017 application round: change to Funding Rules

The expectation of Professors to apply at Principal Research Fellow (PRF) and Senior Principal Research Fellow (SPRF) levels has been removed for the 2017 application round. Full details will be available in the Research Fellowships scheme-specific funding rules for funding commencing in 2018 to be published when the round opens in December 2016.

Institutions have been advised of this change.

NHMRC is seeking public feedback on its draft framework on health based targets and a fact sheet on lanthanum for the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (2011). Consultation will close 5 pm (AEDT) Friday 4 November 2016.

The Pharmacy Trial Program (PTP)

The Pharmacy Trial Program (PTP), under the Sixth Community Pharmacy Agreement, aims to extend the funded roles of pharmacists in the delivery of primary health care services.  The PTP will trial new and expanded community pharmacy programs aimed at improving clinical outcomes.

The Department of Health is seeking to fund organisations to run innovative trials in community pharmacies or with community pharmacists.  Information on how to apply for funding through the PTP is available, where you will find the grant guidelines, the application form and associated documents.  Applications are to be submitted by 2pm (AEDT) Thursday 15 December 2016.
