The Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences (AAHMS) inducted 50 new Fellows at their second Annual Scientific Meeting in Brisbane this week.
National Health and Research Medical Council (NHMRC) CEO Professor Anne Kelso AO said, ‘On behalf of NHMRC, I congratulate all of the new Fellows on this well-deserved recognition of their achievements.
‘They represent the great breadth and strength of health and medical science in Australia today and there is no doubt that they will continue to make major contributions to improving human health and wellbeing.’
Professor Kelso said she was pleased and grateful that all of the new Fellows have had significant involvement with NHMRC through their research and their participation in advisory and peer review committees.
