The 3rd annual Research Translation Faculty Symposium was held on 12-13 November 2014. The theme for the conference was “Achieving better health outcomes for Australians living with chronic conditions through more effective research translation”.
The aim of the Symposium in 2014 was to showcase, promote and discuss Australia's research translation capabilities in the area of better health outcomes for Australians living with chronic conditions. With interests including those living in rural and remote settings, the aged, obesity related illness and improving health research literacy in this area, the conference provided a great opportunity for exchange about how more effective research translation can have a greater impact.
