Synopsis

10 of the Best Research Projects 2009 describes ten Australian health and medical research projects chosen from among the 8,000 vital medical research projects underway in Australia today. These projects include research into how to smart bomb cancer, beat diabetes, and give children a healthier start in life.

The book and accompanying series of podcasts was developed to encourage the next generation of health and medical researchers, and was launched as part of CSIRO’s National Science Week activities.Podcast interviews

The 10 of the Best Research Projects 2009 podcasts are short (4-5 minute) interviews with the researchers whose success stories in science are included in the book.
