NHMRC’s legacy Research Grants Management System (RGMS) has been replaced by a new grants management solution, Sapphire.

As part of this transition, access to RGMS was disabled on 5 January 2022.

Transitional Arrangements

Application and assessment processes for all grant opportunities have been managed in Sapphire since 2020.

With the release of the Sapphire Select and Post Award (Release 1 and 2) modules in 2021, outcome notifications/documents, grant offers and payments, variations and MREA scientific reports are now also managed in Sapphire.

Remaining post award functions (financial reporting and acquittals) are expected to implemented in Sapphire by late 2022.
