The 5th Annual NHMRC Symposium on Research Translation
The theme for this year was "Embedding research into health care: building a culture of quality"
Melbourne Convention Centre
The goal of the Symposium was to inspire, influence and create a culture in health care that focuses on quality, underpinned by strong research evidence. Such a culture is exemplified by NHMRC's Advanced Health Research and Translation Centres (AHRTCs) that represent nodes of excellence in evidence-based health care. These centres bring the best possible health delivery to Australians, and are equal to the best in the world.
We thank the 400 delegates and 72 speakers who attended this year and ensured that the program was relevant, engaging and topical.
Powerpoint presentations are available from the Australian Government web archive.
