Partnership Centre: Health System Sustainability
The third NHMRC Partnership Centre for Better Health on the theme ‘Health System Sustainability’ was launched in December 2016. The Centre is jointly governed and funded to the value of $9.75 million over five years by NHMRC, Bupa Health Foundation, NSW Health and the University of Notre Dame Australia.
The Centre is led by Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite, Foundation Director of the Australian Institute of Health Innovation at Macquarie University. Professor Braithwaite leads a research investigator team to explore the issues impacting health care system sustainability and develop and evaluate a set of implementable interventions that are appropriate from a clinical, patient and economic perspective.
