Synopsis of publication:

In August 1999, the Australian Health Ethics Committee conducted a series of national workshops about the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research Involving Humans. The workshops were designed to familiarise participants with the National Statement. The report includes an evaluation of the workshops; an overview of the National Statement; and the case studies used in the workshops.
