Synopsis of publication:

Guidelines for the prevention, early detection and management of colorectal cancer: A guide for general practitioners summarise the main evidence based recommendations from the NHMRC endorsed Guidelines for the prevention, early detection and management of colorectal cancer. The guide is intended to help general practitioners lead the patient with colorectal cancer through the complex and evolving forms of investigation and treatment.

The Guidelines were developed by the Australian Cancer Network, Clinical Oncological Society of Australia, National Cancer Control Initiative and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and form part of the three document series of Guidelines for the prevention, early detection and management of colorectal cancer.
