The Joint statement and recommendations on vitamin K administration to newborn infants to prevent vitamin K deficiency bleeding in infancy (see link below) and Vitamin K for newborn babies - Information for Parents were prepared by the NHMRC Working Party on the Administration of Vitamin K. The Working Party membership had expert representation from the NHMRC, the Paediatric Division of the Royal Australasia College of Physicians, the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and the Australian College of Midwives Inc.
