These 2008 emergency care evidence in practice series of brochures were developed as part of the NICS emergency care community of practice. The brochures aim to highlight areas where evidence exists to inform best practice and potential opportunities to improve the quality of care. The brochures outline the importance of the issue, best available evidence, current practice and implications for specific areas of emergency care practice.
