Leadership
Works to build capacity in evidence implementation. Our activities in this area encompass NICS Fellowships, NICS Scholarships, and Visiting Experts. To provide practical support with implementing evidence in a variety of settings, we also produce and promote generic resources and tools that can be used across the health sector.
Research Implementation
These programs work to implement and evaluate national programs for evidence implementation.
Our key activities in this area include: Heart failure management, Venous thromboembolism (VTE) prevention, Private hospital VTE prevention, development of a VTE prevention guideline for use in the Australian health care context and development of a guideline for the management of volatile substance use.
