This report summarises the latest international experience and advice on assessing the implementability of guidelines. It is based on both a literature search of current guideline implementation research and an informal survey of international guideline developers.
The literature search and interviews focused on suitable, scientifically valid guideline assessment tools that would assess the implementability of a guideline. Additional questions were also asked to find out how quality (including usability and implementability) of guidelines is assessed in other countries.
