Top indigenous entertainer awarded for health work
Aboriginal singer-songwriter Dr Jimmy Little was awarded the National Health and Medical Research Council Advocacy Award at Research Australia’s ‘Thank You’ Day Awards in Sydney last night. Dr Little was nominated for the award by Baxter Healthcare for his long-term dedication to raising awareness of health issues affecting Indigenous Australians.
