Minor amendment to the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007)

The Australian Health Ethics Committee and National Health and Medical Research Council have approved a minor amendment to the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007).

The National Statement promotes ethical human research. This change alters the spelling of foetus to fetus throughout the document.

As this amendment is of minor significance, NHMRC is dispensing with the requirements for consultation under section 14B of the National Health and Medical Research Council Act 1992.
