NHMRC congratulates Professor Chris Goodnow for his GlaxoSmithKline Award for Research Excellence to further develop his world-leading research on the cause of autoimmune diseases.
NHMRC is an ongoing supporter of Professor Goodnow research. In 2010 Professor he was awarded a $4 million NHMRC Australia Fellowship to identify the root cause of auto-immune disease. Commencing this year, Professor Goodnow and his team were awarded a $15.7 million NHMRC Program Grant (PDF, 88KB) to research the molecular and cellular basis of inflammatory and immunodeficiency diseases.
