Impact of flood crisis: Research and Practitioner Fellowships
NHMRC will support researchers and institutions affected by the flood crisis, noting that the closing date for Research and Practitioner Fellowship applications is 10 February 2011.
If, as a result of the floods, you feel that you may be unable to meet the 10 February 2011 closing date, please contact NHMRC (details below). Research Administration Officers are welcome to contact NHMRC on behalf of candidates within their institutions.
Please e-mail the Research Help Centre at help@nhmrc.gov.au, with the words "'Flood Impact RF/PF" in your subject line.
In your e-mail please include the name(s), APP ID(s) and a brief description of circumstances of applicants affected. NHMRC will consider extensions for these Fellowships applicants on a case-by-case basis and advise RAOs as soon as possible.
NHMRC also wishes to advise that we will continue to monitor the situation of the floods and their aftermath in relation to the closing date for affected applicants for Project Grants and Centres of Research Excellence.
Update your grants history in CV
Existing NHMRC grant data has been migrated into RGMS CVs.
Please review your RGMS: CV-RF ‘NHMRC Research Funding’ page and make any necessary additions. If you see any errors in the imported data, please contact the Research Help Centre (help@nhmrc.gov.au) so that we can check our source data. Your email should be titled ‘CV-RF Research Funding Issue’.
NHMRC Funding Agreement
Following extensive consultation, NHMRC has consolidated all Deeds of Agreement into one Funding Agreement. The overarching agreement will apply to all grants at each Administering Institution and will be signed by the Institution.
A guide to the major changes to the Deed and an FAQ sheet is available on the NHMRC website.
‘Publications, Papers, Reports and Contributions’ screen in Part B of applications
We are aware that there are some differences between the ‘B-PPRC Publications, Papers, Reports & Contributions’ screen in RGMS and the ‘Advice and instructions to applicants’ for a number of schemes.
We are working to resolve the inconsistencies as soon as possible and will alert RAOs when the ‘Advice and instructions to applicants’ have been updated.
Applicants who are needing to complete this part of the application can contact the Research Help Centre (help@NHMRC.gov.au) or 1800 500 983 for specific advice on completing these screens.
