Research Administrators’ Seminar 2012

We are pleased to confirm that NHMRC and ARC, in association with ARMS, will again be conducting a Research Administrators’ Seminar in November 2012. The seminar will be held in Canberra on 19 and 20 November 2012. The venue for both days will be the Bradman Theatrette at the National Convention Centre, 31 Constitution Avenue Canberra. NHMRC Translating Research Into Practice (TRIP) Fellowship Leadership Masterclass

As part of the NHMRC TRIP Fellows leadership training, a one day masterclass was held in the NHMRC Melbourne office. This masterclass featured a number of prominent Australian research leaders who imparted some of their life experiences in leading change and translating research into practice.  These leaders included Professor Fiona Wood AM, Professor Patrick McGorry AO and Professor Cindy Shannon. Henipavirus Workshop

A*STAR- Australian NHMRC Joint Symposium 2012 on Combating Emerging Infectious Diseases through Integrative Technology Approaches

In September 2011, National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) signed an agreement with the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore (A*STAR) to promote and encourage research and development activities amongst researchers from Singapore and Australia.
