Henipavirus Workshop
In conjunction with the Asia-Pacific Congress of Medical Virology (APCMV), NHMRC is sponsoring a workshop on Henipaviruses, Friday June 8th at the Adelaide Convention Centre, 11am to 3:30pm. Registration for this workshop is free. Recent developments on Nipah and Hendra virus infections and their control will be discussed. A*STAR- Australian NHMRC Joint Symposium 2012 on Combating Emerging Infectious Diseases through Integrative Technology Approaches
In September 2011, National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) signed an agreement with the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore (A*STAR) to promote and encourage research and development activities amongst researchers from Singapore and Australia. Under this agreement, such collaborations will be facilitated through the joint organisation of symposia and a joint grant call by both parties.
