Archived HREC Bulletins

The HREC Bulletin was published by the Australian Health Ethics Committee (AHEC) as part of its support for Human Research Ethics Committees (HRECs). The primary purpose of the Bulletin was to assist HRECs in fulfilling their responsibilities by providing information and advice about current and emerging issues in the ethical review of research involving humans.

The 16th Edition of the HREC Bulletin was the final edition. Regular progress on general ethics projects will be featured in the NHMRC E-News , which is published four times a year. AHEC will continue to advise HRECs of developments of particular import to the work of HRECs as they arise. This new Alerts webpage has been developed to provide this information.

HRECs are encouraged to regularly check this alerts page.
