AHEC has statutory responsibility for developing guidelines regarding Ethical conduct of research. AHEC has also developed some other general guidelines with other committees. General guidelines can be found below.
National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007)
The National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007) (National Statement) consists of a series of primary guidelines for researchers, Human Research Ethics Committees (HRECs), and organisations, which are made in accordance with the National Health and Medical Research Council Act 1992.
