Synopsis
The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) has released three booklets which offer information and advice to health professionals and to consumers about the use of hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
Hormone Replacement Therapy: A Summary of the Evidence for General Practitioners and other Heath Professionals sets out the benefits and risks associated with use of hormone replacement therapy in women around the time of menopause. It is based on a comprehensive review of the the evidence, interpreted by an expert NHMRC working party.
