From 1 January 2011, institutions will no longer be required to provide NHMRC with a Statement of Compliance. Instead, NHMRC Administering Institutions are required to report on their compliance with the Australian Code of Practice for the Care and Use of Animals for Scientific Purposes (2004) through the NHMRC Institutional Annual Compliance Report.
