Synopsis
The Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Management of Melanoma in Australia and
New Zealand (2008) were developed by an expert team to provide the evidence for optimal care and will assist general practitioners, dermatologists, surgeons and others in clinical decision making when managing patients with melanoma.
They were developed by the Australian Cancer Network (ACN), with the support of NHMRC. This support was provided through the services of a NHMRC Guideline Assessment Register Consultant, who assisted the ACN to adhere to the NHMRC guideline development process.
The NHMRC CEO approved the Guidelines on 30 October 2008.
Copies of this guideline document can be obtained through the Australian Cancer Network on 02 8063 4141 or email: acn@cancer.org.au.
