Harmonisation of Multi-centre Ethical Review (HoMER) - Standardisation of Forms Consultation (Closed)
A priority in the HoMER project is the establishment of `standardised forms' to be used within multi-centre ethical review.
The standardised forms have been developed as tools for researchers. The forms contain information, which may be included or excluded, for a researcher creating a Participant Information and Consent Form (PICF). In addition to the standardised forms, template letters have also been developed to assist Human Research Ethics Committees (HRECs) in communicating their decisions and/or requests with researchers.

DRAFT - A new food guidance system for Australia – Foundation and Total Diets (Closed)
NHMRC has released for public consultation A new food guidance system for Australia – Foundation and Total Diets, which is the revised version of the Core Food Groups (1994) (revoked in 2000).
Update: The draft A Food Guidance System for Australia – Foundation and Total Diets was released for public consultation from 27 March to 10 May 2010. This document is not a guideline, rather it is a technical translation of nutrient values into types and quantities of food. It does not contain dietary recommendations and is not targeted at consumers. The final version of the document will, however, be one of several components that will inform the revised Australian Dietary Guidelines and the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating, which are important documents for health professionals and consumers.
