Draft - Minimising pain, distress and suffering in animals in research
The purpose of this document is to promote the wellbeing of animals used for scientific purposes and to minimise their experience of pain, distress and suffering. The document is divided into three parts: background material to assist understanding of animal welfare issues, strategies for planning, conducting and reviewing research protocols and fact sheets on technical information.
