International Human Frontier Science Program

The Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) supports international, interdisciplinary collaborations in basic research, focusing on complex mechanisms of living organisms. More than 30 countries worldwide are involved in the program and 11 HFSP scientists have received Nobel Prizes.

The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) gives Australian researchers the opportunity to access more than $70 million in funding each year through its Australian membership of the program.

Attached is a list of 2007 Australian awardees and all Australian awardees since the program commenced in 1989.
