This section of the site provides details of the current NHMRC Equipment Grant funding recipients. The funding is allocated on a pro rata basis to Administering Institutions according to their share of the total funding awarded by the NHMRC for research in that year.
Equipment Grants 2011
The funding has been provided under NHMRC’s Equipment Grants scheme, which is designed to assist ongoing competitively funded medical research across Australia.
Under the scheme, institutions are encouraged to buy equipment that will be used collaboratively and, where possible, Australian-made. Institutions are also encouraged to consider the lack of access to similar equipment in their institution and region.
