This dataset covers all available information from the funded research grants for the period 2000-2008 as reported on the NHMRC website at www.nhmrc.gov.au/grants/dataset/rmis/index.htm. It contains the Lay Descriptions/Summaries available from electronic sources within NHMRC at November 2008.

Please note that while most Research Support grant types are available, lay summaries are only available from People Support grants awarded since the 2007 Application Round. At the time of development, apart from Career Development Awards, the lay descriptions for People Support awards for the 2008 Application Round have not yet been provided because they had not yet been announced.
