Progress and Final Reporting
Progress Reports - Annual
Annual Progress Reports are required from Research Institutions for each funded project awarded under Deeds of Agreement.
In accordance with the NHMRC Deed of Agreement, progress reports must be submitted to the NHMRC by 31 March following each calendar year in which there were payments or carry forward of funds for a funded NHMRC Project Grant, except in the final year when the Final Report form must be used. Progress Reports enable the NHMRC to assess whether satisfactory progress is being achieved.

For Enabling Grants Round 1 and 2 the progress reports are due by 9 September during each year of funding.

Progress Reports - Mid-Term
In accordance with item G of the Schedule to the Deed of Agreement for NHMRC Researcher Support Schemes; Research, Practitioner and Australia Fellows are required to submit a one page executive summary addressing achievements and progress against the aims of their respective scheme by 31st of August in the third year of the grant.
In addition to the executive summary, Research, Practitioner and Australia Fellows are also required to provide detailed lists updating publications, grants, peer recognition, prizes and awards, research translation, commercialisation, clinical activities, public health activities, research training, and contribution to professional activities during the tenure of the current Fellowship. With respect to Research Fellows who were awarded the Trans-Tasman Joint Initiative Award in conjunction with their Fellowship, they should also provide a one page summary on the award.

Final Report and Supplementary forms
In accordance with the NHMRC Deed of Agreement, a Final Report must be submitted to the NHMRC within six months of the completion of the funding period or termination of the award.
This report enables the NHMRC to assess whether the objectives of the award have been achieved and also to gather information that may be useful in our internal performance measurement activities.
