Ongoing management of Career Development Awards

The following documents and templates are to be used by current Career Development Award holders in fulfilling their reporting requirements under the Deed of Agreement.

Final Reporting

In accordance with the NHMRC Deed of Agreement, Final Reports must be submitted to the NHMRC by the specified due date.

Mid Term Reporting

All Career Development Award holders are required to submit a mid term progress report. Prior to 2008, successful applicants were awarded five years of funding with new awards commencing January 2008 being of four years duration. For both awards, a mid term report is required as follows:

  • Five year awards - mid-term report due by the 31 August in the third year of the award, to cover the period up to and including 30 June of the third year.
  • Four year awards - mid-term report due by the 31 March in the third year of the award to cover the two year period up to and including 31 December of the second year.

The report should be submitted in free text, and address the Aims and Objectives of the Career Development Award Scheme. It must also include a list of all the publications for the reporting period. Completed reports should be sent to:

Financial Reporting

In accordance with the NHMRC Deed of Agreement all certified Administering Institutions are required to submit financial reports for each individual funded project. The timing of these reports is outlined in item G of the Schedule for each funded project.
