The Short-Term Exchange / Study Scheme

The Tripartite Agreement was signed in 2002, between the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC NZ) and the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia (NHMRC), to support research in the area of Indigenous peoples' health, with the goal of improving the health of Indigenous peoples in these three countries.

Objectives

To enhance the research skills and profiles of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and other researchers in the field of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, to increase research capacity in this sector.

To facilitate collaborative exchanges between researchers in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and health researchers in New Zealand and Canada.

Apply

To apply for the short-term exchange/study scheme, please follow the steps outlined below:

  2. Download the application form and complete the application; and

  3. Submit your completed application to your administering institution.
