Neil Hamilton Fairley Overseas Clinical Fellowship
Eligiblity
To be eligible to apply, applicants must hold a doctorate in a health related field of research or have submitted a thesis for such by December of the year of application.
Applicants should have demonstrated an interest in, and ability to pursue, a career in research and be currently engaged in such activities in Australia. At the time of applying, applicants should not have more than two years postdoctoral experience from the date that the doctoral thesis was passed.
Applicants must be Australian citizens, or be graduates from overseas with permanent Australian resident status not under bond to any foreign government. Applicants should provide a specific study plan within the clearly defined area, and organise affiliation with an overseas investigator/ institution to carry out the study. The Overseas Clinical (Neil Hamilton Fairley) Fellowships are awarded for a period of four years, of which the first two are spent overseas and two years in Australia.
