Primary Health Care Scholarship

The Primary Health Care Postgraduate Research Scholarships were approved by the Government to encourage graduates to obtain formal training in primary health care related research. The scholarships are primarily intended to contribute to the development and strengthening of the primary health care research and evaluation workforce..

Eligiblity

Applications will be considered in all relevant health related disciplines including general practice, social and behavioural sciences and health economics.

Other than for the purpose of the scholarship, all other requirements are identical to the Public Health Postgraduate Scholarship. The Public Health Scholarship is the application pro forma which should be used to apply for the Primary Health Care Scholarship, and the application form should be annotated that it is an application for a Primary Health Care Scholarship.
