Medical and Dental Postgraduate Research Scholarships

These Scholarships are awarded to provide full-time research experience to medical or dental graduates registered to practice in Australia. However, medical graduates can apply during their intern year and dental postgraduate research scholars may be awarded a scholarship prior to graduation.

Eligiblity

All candidates must enrol for a higher degree. The Scholarships will be held within Australia. Graduates from overseas who hold permanent resident status and are currently resident in Australia are eligible to apply.

The Scholarships are awarded initially for one year but, subject to satisfactory progress reports, they may be renewed for one or more years. The usual maximum period of the award is three years.
